Two Students, Rev. Jungmin Prajna and Bongwang Prajna took precepts at Mt. Baldy Zen Center on June 21, 2014.

On May 3 2014 we held a One Day Retreat at Mt Baldy Zen Center. At the event two senior students received Dharma Holder Authorization. Those students were Rev Dr Jabo Prajna and Rev Bonjok Prajna.

Our first Online Grand Ordination Ceremony was held on March 22, 2014. The ceremony was such a success we will be hosting two a year for our remotely located students.

On June 28, 2014 the Open Sky Zen Group in collaboration with the InterDependence Project held a Mini Zen Retreat and Ven. Do'an Dharma with Ven. Doshim Dharma presented Rev. Hyeonmin Prajna with his Dharma Holder Authorization.

On Saturday afternoon, we (Ven. Dr. Sunyananda, Ven. Dr. Wonji, Rev. Nima, Rev. Boepbo, Rev. Wanmo) will host our first formal ceremony at the Dharmakaya Buddhist Association Abbey (Chua Phap An), in the Ordination to the Monastic Novitiate of Vu Hoang Chu as Thich Tam Giac.
