7/30/1994 – Wonji took Ten Precepts at Providence Zen Center, Rhode Island following a Seven Day Retreat with Zen Master Dae Kwang (Kwan Um School of Zen)

Oct 1996 - Wonji goes to Korea, Hwagesa, Seoul, & Peoples Republic of China, Shaoguan, The Whole World is a Single Flower Conference. [Nanhua Temple and Yunmen Temple]

March 1997 Wonji and Zen Master Ji Bong in Dharma Exchange at his Transmission Ceremony at Providence Zen Center.

(1998) Ocean Eyes Zen Center, Mark & Tracy take 10 precepts with Wonji and Jibong in Long Beach, Ca.

Nov 1998 - Roman, Mike, Chris and Bill take precepts with Paul Park, JDPSN & Zen Master Jibong at Dharma Zen Center.

March 1999 - Chris, John & An take precepts with Wonji and Jibong

2000 - Glen Horiuchi ordains with Paul Park, JDPSN and Zen Master Jibong.

6/2/2001 – Wonji took Sixteen Precepts and became a Senior Dharma Teacher at Ocean Eyes Zen Center, Long Beach, California with Zen Master Ji Bong (Kwan Um School of Zen) and began teaching Zen Students

April 2002 - Wonji goes to Peoples Republic of China, Beijing, Xi’an, Mt. Sung Shan, Chengdu, Chongqing and Shanghai for 3 weeks.

Jan 2002 - Barbara, Carlos & Chris take precepts with Paul Park, JDPSN, Wonji and Jibong.

Mar 2003 - Wonji travels to Peoples Republic of China, Beijing, Emei Shan, LeShan to Chong Qing via Dazu Stone Caves and Shanghai for 3 weeks.

2003 - Wonji traveled the length of the Nile for 3 weeks, from Alexandria to Aswan.

Sept 2004 - Wonji travels to Singapore, Bangkok & Chaingmai, Thailand, also Seim Reap, Cambodia for 3 weeks.

1/30/2005 – Wonji co-founded the Golden Wind Zen Group and reestablished vows as a Brahmajala Monk with the newly founded Golden Wind Zen Group, Long Beach, California with Zen Master Ji Bong
